The Casting Room

"Burnished" decor is now starting to show up in home decor and design magazines, and becoming more popular across the prairies.

Extreme heat is used to create the burnished designs you see here, enhancing the natural colors of heated steel and bringing out the blue, purple and gold tones. These creations are truly "one-of-a-kind", as each piece takes on it's own characteristics and it is impossible to duplicate the same look twice.

INTERIOR DESIGN IDEAS

The Random Grind look has been increasing in popularity, over the last few years, appearing in many renovated and new homes and offices across Saskatchewan. Though the grind pattern, itself, is random, customers can choose from a very bold look or a softer, more subtle grind. This allows greater design flexibility when planning for counters or backsplashes. All random grind pieces finished with a clear coat, for a smooth surface.

To compliment the reception counter, stainless steel posts and wave cut perforated panels (above) were added to frame in the company logo, on etched glass. Stainless steel handrails with glass inserts, finish off the look.
